     Our horses may accommodate a riders weight under 180 lbs.

    Rider's weight limit - under 180 lbs. for trail ride

All Troops Register with $200.00 non-refundable deposit with estimate of guests. Deposit applied toward balance.

Big “Barn Style” Indoor Recreation Center

The evening your troop arrives we start your specially designed program with fun and excitement in our Big “Barn Style” Recreation Center . Air Conditioned is a plus when you are doing the “Boot Scoot’in Boogie”.  Dance instructors teach your troop Line Dancing to Western Music heard on our Above Sound System. Don’t be surprised if your troop keeps doing these get together dances before each of your meetings for the next year!!

TRAIL RIDES
Enjoy Texas Style Western Riding

.

Ride in the peaceful countryside under large shade trees and then into the “Wooded Hideaway”. While riding, you might see deer or wild turkeys. Our wranglers will escort your horseback trail ride at a relaxing walk on our gentle horses. Riding instruction/mini lesson with each individual rider provided before trail ride.

Ya’ll City Folks come join us for a Camp Fire Lunch that is plum full of fun. U R Cook—You have all the fun roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over a camp fire. Western Music plays while you enjoy the peacefulness under the beautiful shade trees.

JUNIOR TROOP - 4th Grade and Up

Overnight stays—choose between a

Friday to Saturday   or    Saturday to Sunday

 

THINGS TO BRING LIST:   Sweater or jacket  (cool in mornings), Jeans for riding,  Closed shoe (no sandals), Face towel, Sleeping bag or Bedding to fit a twin mattress, Pillow and Light Blanket. Please NO showers on the short overnight stays.

 

6:00 Evening       Arrival at Blue Streak Stables (Dinner before they arrive)

6:00 – 6:30 pm     Assign bunk house and Set up beds for night

                            (Feed Horses)  

6:30 – 8:30          Introductions, Agenda Review &

                            Assign Horses for Next Day’s Ride

8:30 – 8:45          Snack Break

8:45 – 9:30 pm     Western Line Dancing “Fun & Excitement”

 

Next Morning

6:00 am               Wake up Call

6:30 - 7:30           Feed Horses / Breakfast - Campers

7:30 - 8:00           Pack up Cars

8:00– 11:45          Riding Instructions,  Lesson, Trail Ride, Groom Horse Class, 

                            Saddling Class, Safety knot class,   SNACK  BREAK and

                             remaining Badge work criteria  (Programs with group rotations)

12:00 NOON    Camp Fire Fun – roasting hot dogs and marshmallows

2:00 pm              Departure  - “Ya’ll Come Back, Ya’ll Hear”

We provide safety stirrups—closed shoes required

We provide Helmets

We provide all meals—Evening Snacks, next Morning Breakfast,            Midmorning Snacks and Camp Fire Fun Lunch

Campers must not have food of any kind in bunk houses  

        Gum is  not allowed at any time

Camp Store – GS bring money for souvenirs – T-shirts and

        assorted huggable stuffed horses price starting at $6.00
